Barium Sulphate
Barium Sulphate (BaSO₄) is a high-density, chemically inert mineral widely used as a functional filler, extender, and weighting agent in numerous industrial applications. It is a fine white powder known for its excellent brightness, low oil absorption, high specific gravity, and superior chemical stability. Barium Sulphate enhances product durability, improves surface finish, increases density, and provides excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and weathering. It is extensively used in paints, coatings, plastics, rubber, drilling fluids, ceramics, pharmaceuticals, and construction materials.
